Right to Read Goals

    Teachers and literacy instructors have the capacity to provide effective core literacy instruction and intervention to children at risk for reading problems.

  • Assess Students’ Literacy Skills:
    Every child in kindergarten and grade one is screened for potential reading difficulties.

  • Support Students at Risk:
    Every child at potential risk for reading problems is provided with support at the earliest possible stage in their educational career.

Right to Read Course:
Literacy Essentials

You will have access to the webinars for a period of four months, starting from the date of your registration.

Literacy Essentials Course
equips educational assistants and other school staff with a solid understanding of how to teach students to read and write proficiently. It includes practical strategies, activities, and resources that you can use right away with students in Kindergarten through Grade 3 and older struggling students.
